In the world of coffee, premium coffee has two basic designations: Specialty Coffee (for Arabica) and Fine Robusta (for Robusta coffee).
The concept of Fine Robusta is used to refer to types of Robusta coffee that score from 80 to 100 according to the standards and evaluation process of green coffee and roasted beans through cupping by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI). To achieve this quality threshold, coffee must ensure proper cultivation, harvesting, processing, and storage methods.
Roasted Fine Robusta coffee at VCU is selected from the highest quality coffee beans, produced in a closed process, ensuring that each coffee bean contributes to a delicious, rich specialty coffee cup.

Since late 2022, VCU has gradually brought Vietnamese coffee to the world, reaching demanding markets such as Japan, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. Initially, it was just Robusta and Arabica Clean products. But seeing the growing global preference for specialty coffee (Fine), VCU JSC has adapted to keep up with the new coffee era.
With existing experience, modern facilities, ISO and FDA standard roasting workshops, and a dedicated team, VCU has produced Fine Robusta scoring over 80 points by SCA and CQI.
At VCU, we have two industrial roasters with a capacity of 60 kg/batch, a highly experienced R&D team, and continuously upgraded roasting techniques to produce the highest quality specialty coffee.
