CEO Nguyễn Tiến Định’s Learning Experience at WOC 2025
Driven by a passion for learning and connection, Mr. James headed to Jakarta shortly after participating in the Philippine Coffee Expo 2025. His goal: to strengthen VCU’s global ties and explore new opportunities in the specialty coffee sector.
On his first day at WOC 2025, Mr. James visited numerous booths from leading global brands, learning how they craft compelling brand stories, build strong identities, and promote coffee to the international market.
He also sought out and built connections with suppliers in Indonesia—one of the world’s top coffee-producing countries—to ensure long-term, high-quality sourcing partnerships.
This was Mr. James’s first visit to Jakarta and his first experience attending such a large-scale global coffee event, immersing himself in the energy and innovation of the international coffee community.
His journey to WOC in Jakarta was not only a chance to gain insights and inspiration, but also a key step in VCU’s mission to elevate product quality, improve service, and bring Vietnamese coffee to the global stage.
